With the new Shaanti update it’s a good solid addition with loads of new guns that does offer a little bit more replay value.Īll in all Serious Sam VR is an unfinished game that is growing and changing all the time. While at first, this game didn’t offer a great deal of value for money.
It’s always been about shooting, killing, then shooting some more and in that respect, it stays true to its origins. You buy these games for a bit of mindless violence fun, not for revolutionary gameplay mechanics. There is nothing really innovative about Serious Sam VR but there doesn’t need to be. It’s super gory fun and no thinking needed (or any movement, just stand where you are and shoot). This is the classic game, only played in VR. I have to say the game looks pretty awesome with gore overload and some pretty awesome looking guns and areas. With 3 worlds, several missions on each, loads of weapons and 20 different enemy types, some classic and some brand new there is more than enough to keep most Serious Sam fans happy here. Shoot and destroy the biggest of monsters as they try and stop you.
